We are seeking a highly skilled and bilingual Senior Accountant
to join our client's team. This role is ideal for a full-cycle accountant with strong analytical skills who is ready to take ownership of financial processes, deliver insightful reporting, and contribute to the success of a dynamic organization.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the reconciliation process, including annual tasks such as additional rent calculations and reporting.
- Perform cost and variance analysis to support financial reporting and decision-making.
- Utilize advanced Excel skills (including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and complex formulas) to analyze and present data effectively.
- Collaborate with the team as we transition to Yardi, bringing prior Yardi experience or an openness to learning the platform.
- Manage the full accounting cycle, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial standards and regulations.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes, including preparing journal entries and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams to provide financial insights and recommendations to support business operations and strategic goals.
- Bilingual proficiency (French & English)
- CPA designation or active progress toward obtaining the CPA designation.
- Strong analytical background with experience in financial reporting and variance analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, etc.).
- Experience with Yardi (preferred but not required).
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing priorities.
