Our client, a leading provider of mission-critical software solutions, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Finance to join their growing team.
This role will lead all financial aspects of a high-growth portfolio, overseeing accounting, reporting, analysis, compliance, and integration. The ideal candidate will be a strategic partner to senior leadership, providing insights to drive informed business decisions.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and mentor a high-performing finance team.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
  • Continuously improve financial systems and processes.
  • Manage all accounting functions, including month-end/year-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations.
  • Manage cash flow and treasury functions.
  • Lead financial due diligence on potential acquisition targets and supporting growth initiatives.
  • Oversee post-acquisition integration, including financial and system consolidation.
  • Oversee portfolio and business units in Northern and Latin America.
  • Provide financial support to acquired businesses.
  • Partner with senior leadership to develop and execute strategic financial plans.
  • Provide insightful financial analysis to support key business decisions.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks.
  • Collaborate effectively with other departments across the organization.
  • Ad-hoc projects as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • CPA designation.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in finance, including 5+ years in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles (IFRS preferred).
  • Proven experience in financial due diligence and post-acquisition integration within the tech industry.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, preferably overseeing overseas teams.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and high-growth environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling software.
  • Proficiency in Spanish is an asset.
