Responsibilities:
- Performing reconciliations of bank accounts and general ledgers
- Preparing and distributing daily management reports
- Assisting with regulatory and lender reporting requirements
- Contributing to the preparation of monthly and consolidated financial statements
- Generating ad-hoc reports as needed by management or investors
- Processing cash receipts, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and performing account reconciliations
- Responding to internal inquiries and providing problem-solving support
- Calculating loan payments, verifying third-party calculations, and resolving discrepancies
- Reviewing borrower loan statements
- Handling other accounting tasks as assigned
- Degree or diploma in a relevant field combined with at least 2 years of relevant work experience
- Solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles, policies, procedures, and budgeting methods
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-up abilities
- Experience in producing and managing daily management reports
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft, Excel, and Word
