Director of Business Development

We are looking for a director of business development to join our client in Downtown Toronto.

The role:

- You'll be overseeing a portfolio of 10 software companies and coaching a team of 4 business development managers

- 60% originating deal flow, 30% managing the team, and 10% improving the business development function, KPIs, and reporting accuracy.
- Hybrid
- Base salary: $150K base, $100K bonus, plus OTE

- Someone with real buy side origination experience, preferably in tech

- Demonstrated ability to hire, develop, and scale a high-performing BD or sourcing team

- Willingness to travel for meetings, conferences, and industry events
